    Elegant Tone and Full Sound

    Widen Your Sonic Palette

Eastman's bows are carefully balanced and calibrated for optimal weight and balance. This ensures a wide range of dynamics, rich fundamental tone, and easy handling for both legato and articulate playing.

    Quality Construction

They use the highest quality materials for our bows. Each bow features ebony frogs, fully lined slides, and unbleached, genuine white horse hair.

Eastman's entry-level brazilwood bows allow students on a budget to enjoy the advantages of hand-made quality. Starting with strong, aged brazilwood sticks, our bowmakers construct bows the old-fashioned way. Ebony frogs fully mounted in nickel silver and mother-of-pearl, leather and imitation whalebone grips, and quality unbleached Mongolian horsehair all contribute to a bow that will assist and reward a beginning player’s efforts.
