    Shipping Policy

    We work to process web orders as quickly as possible and usually ship items within one day of receiving cleared payment. Most items will even ship the same day. Products sold on janzenbrothers.com are only available for shipment to Canadian addresses. We invite our international customers to check out our used, consignment and clearance items on our Janzen Brothers Music Company store page on Reverb.com.

    Most orders with Standard Shipping will ship out via Canada Post Expedited. In certain instances we may use another shipping company (such as Canpar, UPS, or Fedex) depending on the customer’s location or the weight and size of the shipment. The courier choice will be up to our discretion. When an item is listed as FREE Shipping, the shipping handler will be chosen by us, the seller. If a specific courier or option is preferred by the purchaser, an extra shipping Sur-charge may be applied. Listed shipping rates do not apply to Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, and the Northern Territories. If you are located in these Provinces and Territories, possible minimal up-charge may be required. Please contact for a custom shipping quote.

    We also offer multiple item and shipping discounts based on the size and value of your order. If you would like to receive a quote on shipping multiple oversized or high value items or if you would like to inquire about a product’s ETA before placing an order, please contact us by e-mail at [email protected] or by phone at 1-204-325-8011.

    Damaged Items

    If you notice visible damage to your package, please refuse the shipment (don’t sign for it) and contact us. If you notice damage after accepting and opening your package, please contact us right away.

    Web Store Returns Policy

    Our desire is for you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason this is not the case, please let us know, and we will work to help you out in any way we can. If you feel an item needs to be returned, please contact us to receive a return authorization. All returns must be authorized by us in writing. In general, these are the guidelines we follow when processing returns:

    • Items are returnable within 7 days of delivery
    • Return shipping will be paid by the buyer
    • Returns must be authorized by Janzen Brothers Music Company in writing
    • Items will be fully refunded minus the actual cost of shipping
    • Items MUST be complete with original packaging and MUST be in NEW condition
    • We do not accept returns for items that show obvious signs of wear, have been tampered with, or are missing parts, boxes, manuals etc.
    • A 15% restocking fee may apply if a return is requested after the 7 day return period.
    • Used items, harmonicas, pitch pipes, whistles, and recorders are not returnable.

    In-Store Returns Policy

    We offer an exchange within 15 days if the item is in unused new condition and in the original sealed packaging.

    *Exchanges are not offered on used items such as, harmonicas, pitch pipes, whistles, or recorders.

    All items being exchanged must be in the same condition as when they were purchased, in original packaging, with all manuals and warranty card. Returns should show no signs of wear or abuse otherwise the return will either be refused or subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee.
