Tone and Longevity

Students progress faster on better sounding instruments. Our student violins balance good sound with solid construction to last for many years in school environments.

Start off on the right path.

The student’s first violin sets the stage for the rest of their life. We keep this critical point in mind as we produce the highest quality student instruments.

Commitment to construction.

Each Eastman violin features inlaid purfling, genuine ebony fingerboard and pegs, and a hand-crafted top, back, and sides. No shortcuts are taken even for our student instruments, ensuring a long life in educational environments.

Modern instruments, old-fashioned quality.

Stay in Tune

Our handmade genuine ebony pegs are easy to tune and stay in tune. Less tuning means more time in the orchestra for rehearsal.

Built for Comfort

Our ebony Dresden style chinrest makes holding the instrument more comfortable, and our composite tailpiece with integrated fine tuners allow for easy adjustments.
