With the Nylon Pick line, Dunlop rewrote the book on pick-making and gave players more options and more confidence when choosing their picks. Six gauges were created instead of the limited and vaguely defined Light, Medium, and Heavy popular at the time. Labeled by thickness from 38mm to 1mm, this gave players twice as many gauges and the confidence that they knew what they were getting.
